Fossil has introduced a female watch of this beloved character into its line up. This new look shows Mickey in a whole new light… glitzy. This classic pop icon has been “glamed-up” just a bit.
The pastel theme screams ‘GIRL' throughout the watch! The face is decorated with Mother of Pearl along with crystals within the well-known shape of Mickey's head. Around the face of the watch lie crystals embedded within the frame. The leather bands are about ½ an inch in width and a pearlescent crème color. Oh yes, and to top it off, they have Mickey engraved on the buckle of the watch!
But wait, there's more to it! The keepsake box that it comes in is a sturdy leather case that uses the same color theme as the watch strap. The watch is presented on a cute little pillow that matches everything else! With all this detail, no wonder it retails at $120. However glitzy the watch is, I do have to wonder its practicality. I can see people using this every now and again instead of an everyday type of watch. I'd be afraid of the crystals falling after normal use over a prolonged period of time. Granted, as a collectible, it will brighten up the place.
