Let’s cut to the chase here, this Mickey Mouse themed HDTV from Uniden may well be doing the rounds of a number of tech sites at the moment with the inevitable run down of specifications but why is it that not one of the sites featuring it (that we’ve come across, certainly) have commented on the design which, let’s be brutally honest here, is not only totally uninspiring, its utterly terrible.

Uniden launches in Japan the TL20DXD, a Mickey Mouse themed LCD TV. The Uniden TL20DXD is a 20-inch LCD TV with 1366×768 resolution, 8ms response time, 500cd/m2 brightness and 16:9 respect ratio.

The Mickey LCD TV supports SRS TruSurround XT sound effect and has 2 HDMI input, HDMI connector, S-Video..etv. Uniden TL20DXD measures 44.5×25.0／51.0cm. It is available in grey and black.

The phone is a basic clamshell with Mickey shapes all over as seen in the accompanying pictures. The camera lens also peers out from an aperture which is shaped in the form of Mickey's head.
